Meghan 36-String Harp

 The Meghan harp has five octaves ( C to high c) with 36 nylon strings and levers on all strings except the highest octave. In the lowest octave strings are spun, making the bass smooth and "fat".

It is a slender and elegant harp, built from Rosewood with beautiful carvings on the sides and celtic symbols on the frame. The weight is 12 kgs and it stands 128 cm tall. It has a graceful, rich and clear clang and is superb as a solo instrument or used as continuo in bigger chamber ensembles.
